What the masks are suitable for
Our Venetian masks are suitable for different types of events including a carnival, festival, party or masquerade ball.
In the product details of each mask we have highlighted whether it was designed for a man, a women, or both. Just because the has feathers does not mean that it is only suitable for a lady.
While most of the masks come with ribbons they can also be displayed on a wall. Some designs, e.g. Liberty, are only for wall decoration and come with a hook inside instead of ribbons. |

How Papier Mache Venetian Masks are Made
|
Traditional Venetian masks are formed from a papier mache base and decorated with a range of different materials including glitter, gold leaf, feathers, beads and braiding. Finally silk strings are attached so the mask can be tied to the face or a stick is attached so that the mask can be held by hand close to the face.
